Senior Commercial Manager, Tankers (Oil and chemical)

Requirements:
• Proven experience in a senior commercial role within the Crude / Product (Oil and chemical) maritime industry, with a strong focus on Charter Party negotiations and cargo operations
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, market trends, and customer needs
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
• Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute successful commercial strategies
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a commercial team
• Analytical mindset, with the capability to assess market dynamics and make informed business decisions
• Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Maritime Management, or a related field
• Good communication skill in English ( Russian language is a preferred advantage).
Required qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Manager in the marine Industry (Crude / Petroleum)
• Having Exposure to Oil/Chemical Trading / operations worldwide
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
• Leading and overseeing all commercial operations, including negotiating and managing Charter Party agreements, optimizing cargo operations, and ensuring the overall success of the company’s commercial ventures
• Overseeing operations / negotiations / fixtures under commercial agreement conducted by commercial managers /operators and reviewing performance and strategizing optimal performance of cargo and vessels.
• Developing and implementing commercial strategies to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability
• Managing and building relationships with clients (traders / shippers / receivers / brokers), ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term partnerships
• Analyzing market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
• Collaborating with the technical and operational teams to align commercial strategies with technical capabilities and operational efficiency
• Providing leadership and guidance to the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Monitoring and assessing the financial performance of commercial activities, preparing reports and recommendations for improvement
• Ensuring compliance with relevant commercial regulations and industry standards
