Maritime Lawyer

Requirements:
— Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
— A minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate law and litigation.
— Proven track record within a leading law firm or in-house legal team, specializing in maritime shipping or oil and gas trading.
— Strong expertise in maritime law with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
— Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills.
— Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
— In-depth legal knowledge of corporate law in the UAE, English law, and Hong Kong/China regulations.
— Familiarity with various free zone regulations.
— Fluency in English and Russian, both written and spoken; native proficiency in Russian is preferred.

Responsibilities:
— Provide expert advice on maritime regulations, shipping contracts, and international maritime law.
— Represent the company in litigation, arbitration, and negotiations related to maritime disputes.
— Draft and review contracts associated with shipping, charters, and marine insurance.
— Stay abreast of developments in maritime legislation and case law.
— Collaborate closely with other legal professionals and stakeholders across the organization.
